Meijin as a player?

Hi i am starting to get a bigger group into playing naruto and i was wondering if i became a meijin would i also be able to compete in the tournaments held or would i not be able to since i am a meijin. I just want to know to see if i really want to get events going seeing as i would love to participate in them. Thanks for all the help.

A Mejin is not allowed to compete in events that they are hosting, but you're allowed to as a mejin to go compete in other events other mejins are hosting. also check your Pm Box in a sec.
