New Player! And I love Medical!

My friend kind of got me into it recently with his huge amount of cards. But he keeps stomping me with his deck. In all fairness I watched his brother use the same deck and some how using barrier pre a bunch he was able to kill off his main ninjas (kakashi) with daedara and win. very interesting game.

He uses alot of freaking lighting blades too...

My question is do you guys have any tips for a beginner? I always play a healing class cause i don't like to not have the option and i heard about a couple of medical cards that were pretty OP I don't know how to link them here. I want to try a medical deck cause he didn't sound to happy about playing it, it seems VERY defensive and able to out last his huge attacks.

Besides the lighting blades he also uses Sakura Haruno 1355. I'm guessing that'll be one of my main ninjas in my medical deck, almost with Karin, Tsunade, and Hotaru. Maybe Hinata? He told me to try to focus on a few ninjas.
Sasuke Uchiha 1129, How do i beat this effect? it just burns my chakra so easily
Jirobo (state 2) 1314 this was another card i couldn't figure out how to defend against and when he teamed them all up they just power house me.

Anyways I'm new! Hi and any helped or advice building a medical deck would be VERY much appreciated! Also i'd like it to be legal so i could play in tournaments.

P.S. I've only been playing for a few days so bare with me when i don't know certain things.

I can only assume u play unlimited. Also if u have a steady flow of chakra or the capability to make an explosive comeback don't worry so much about chakra. U can always negate their effects. Our friendly (sometimes) neighbor allanime01 constructed a nice gift to help people use the c-links amongst other stuff. Make yourself acquainted with it and we might be of more help. Otherwise someone else is gonna be of better help than me.

This is probably the best advice you could get. Other than that, if you want a Medical deck list, check the Unlimited Deck Discussion and look for any that are Medical or Female/Medical. Start there, then tweak it to make it your own. Also, good luck! Glad to see more new players come in!

i'm a little confused on what you jonin mean by unlimited? Block? i'll check that forum and try to learn these terminologies. I'm really excited to play

block format is really confusing me. Building a deck from scratch right now with all the rotation to put into it. Any advice? Should i start with a starter deck and then just adjust it? I want to stay current but alot of the cards i'm seeing are really good in older sets, and then i gotta check to see if there are reprints. i guess going to a store would probably help me, I was gonna try to build it off the net before hand.

Disregard. Block for new players can be difficult. Learn the game in unlimited, get comfortable, then move on to block. Especially since block changes often, you should definitely work on getting the hang of everything first. Medical decks aren't block, because you don't have any of the good stuff in block, so don't get too attached if you wanna switch. I have a few decks in both formats. Try that.
