Clarification for N765 Messenger Ninja

It has come to my attention that some veteran players in Puerto Rico are saying that as a cost of the effect of messenger ninja n765 i have to discard the ninja regardless of the outcome of revealed cards.

To my understanding i may discard my ninja if i get 1 or more ninjas with entrance cost 1 or less and a lighting symbol.

Please let me know wich is correct to clarify this

Errata
During your Mission Phase, you can reveal the top 6 cards of your Deck. If there are 1 or more Ninja cards with an Entrance cost of 1 or less and a Lightning Symbol, you can discard this Ninja. In that case, put 1 of them in play and return the rest and shuffle your Deck. If not, shuffle the revealed cards into your deck.

Revealing the top 6 cards is part of the cost. If one of the revealed cards has an Entrance cost of 1 or less and a Lightning Symbol, you can pay the second cost which is to discard .
