fire/wind genjutsu

Have not played in a few sets, so here's my best shot at a fire/wind genjutsu deck. In my mock draws it does really well and is very consistent with the mass draw/filter I have in it. If anybody has any ideas for me, feel free to let me know. I have a chunin in Feb that I'm taking this deck to and I want it to be as good as possible

0 drops
Hanare x3
Hotaru x 3
Kisuke x3
Sasuke (Solo Attitude) x1

1 drops
temari WS x2
shino (super) x2
Karin (give chakra to heal) x1

2 drops
Sakura (inner sakura) x2
Tobi x2

3 drops
Obito x2

4 drops
Sasuke (mill for jutsu cost) x2

5 drops
Itachi (sac ninja to draw 2) x2
Kakashi (free swing... usually) x2

6 drops
3rd Hokage x1
5th Kazekage x1

Jutsu
Genjutsu x2
Windscythe Jutsu x2
Dragon Flame Jutsu x3
Wind Style: Vacuum Blast x2

Missions
Patriarch x2
The Warhawk x3
Guidance x2
New Orders x3
Loss x3

Reinforcements
Sasuke/kakashi x2
Danzo x3
Inner Sakura x3

Here are my dilemmas and reasonings behind my choices
Solo attitude as a 1 of because I would rather run 2 of the turn four sasuke that plays jutsu by milling yourself. But I had room for one more sasuke and I figured why not run a solo attitude. I had room for it. The rest of my 0 drops seem legit to me. I am debating on replacing hotaru with gama, but not sure yet.

Shino is in there as a filler because I do not really know what other 1 drop wind ninja to put in that slot. I already have temari wind scythe. It needs to be wind too so that I can keep my wind count up. I am definitely open to ideas on this one.

Sakura is a case of duh. At least I think so. It is amazing to play the warhawk then trigger sakura's effect. Tobi is a powerful 2 drop that adds to my genjutsu count. It helps with patriarch and reducing the cost of "genjutsu"

I have the fire/wind obito in my deck right now because i do not own any of the jutsu negating obitos. But I actuall like the fire/wind one. paying 2 wind to temporarily remove a ninja and boost my aggro is pretty sweet IMO.

The turn 4 sasuke I chose is pretty good in that if he plays the vacuum blast and bumps his turn marker, he can play genjutsu without having to touch my chakra. Best choice I think

Itachi is just a great draw effect. Kakashi is the main user of genjutsu. Running 2 or each seems reasonable especially since I run patriarch.

I'm thinking of taking out the kazekage and just running 2 hokages. Even though his price tag does not agree with me, I think the hokage is the best of the set 25 kages.

I think my jutsu line up is decent. Can't think of too many changes that I would make

Really fond of my mission line up. running so many counter missions helps me build my chakra quickly. playing missions on my turn and your turn really helps with that cause.

Any constructive input is appreciated.

I'd give the new turn 2 obito some thought, but up to you.

St. Shimon and Idle are definite needed sideboards for you if you stick with that fire/wind Obito though. And he's amazing against void.

Last thing: Vacuum Blade > Wind Scythe Jutsu

Edit: Last last thing: If you discard Sasuke (turn 4) with Itachi's effect, you can inherit Sasuke's effect to someone, but you wont get to draw the 2 cards for Itachi's effect. Not sure if you knew already or not, but for me at least it's important to know that.

shimon was definitely going in my sideboard. even without the obito. I might put in tsukado. I actually have more wind resources than I figured.

I heard about that ruling with sasuke and itachi. Is it because the discarded ninja gets removed instead or am I missing something?

its because the discard and draw is the effect not the cost so the ninja would have to end up in the discard pile to get the draw

Suggestions only but u think about droping ur turn 6 's and increasing ur turn 5 and 4 jonins you could run a successful JI push here and then solidify game late with genjutsu gives you another win condition I was also toying with the idea of what's better Tetragram or genjutsu with vacuum blast for obvious reasons increasing sasuke to turn 5 you could potential wipe whole field if u vacuum blast then tetra gram

Yes its because the ninja was removed from game and was never actually discarded. Since Itachi does not discard the ninja as a cost, but as part of the effect. Also, he has the phrase "in that case", which means the ninja must be discarded and cannot be sent somewhere else.

I don't really like JI. I'm not going for rush. just going for smooth curve and my game ender on turn 5. JI kills the hand. You have to play the hand cost, play the mission itself, and have the ninja in hand. Then you have to have the jutsu that you need and have the chakra generated to do what you need to do. Seems like too much. If your opponent chains to your winning jutsu, then you probably just lost.

Remember that Sasuke's replacement effect can't pay for X in Vacuum Blast because it requires specific Chakra outside of the normal specific payment that Sasuke covers. So he can't pump his Entrance Cost with Vacuum Blast unless you actually pay the Wind chakra itself, which means you have to pay for the whole effect.
