Tylar, for the sake of water players, please stop this nonsense
Chakra charity is dumb and if it continues next set water will likely die. You guys at bandai have been nuking water way too much and not giving us anything good to work with other than mizukage.
Please, in set 26 ik there is supposed to be a state 2 jugo and I have high hopes, just don't continue the chakra giving theme. |

Except that water has been way to good for far to long.
Also: Why? Cause it's fun. |

I really like the idea behind the chakra giving theme. Right now there are a few combos out there that could make one of these decks interesting.
I believe we will also start seeing a lot more multiple element decks. Water might not have received a large boost, but got some really good options to be splashed with other elements. |

This statement alone takes away any credibility you may have had.

I have to agree with the thread maker that the chakra giving theme was a terrible idea and that the water support this set is very lackl uster (spaced to avoid random *s) except Mizukage (even though I still don't think she's that great since other ninjas have almost the same level of effect negation on earlier turns) and the jutsu preview on TPC , but it could end up being good later. The problem with the current cards for the theme is that they are too weak to warrant giving your opponent the chakra to use hydro pump, dragon flame, etc. I do realize you're supposed to combo them with cards that get rid of your opponent's chakra, but even water doesn't have enough chakra stealing stuff to get rid of all that chakra you're giving your opponent until considerably late in the game.

This set's theme although interesting, i feel it needed jutsus and missions to help support it as well as ninjas that could help you out. At this point i see no other option then running water/lightning and using set 19's naruto to give your opponent chakra (which they will obviously use up since they know you are playing chakra christmas water). meh, i look at the ban list and most cards on there are water. i look forward to rotation when a good majority of them leave the list. in regards to overall asking for tyler to not do this "archetype" i disagree. i think it has potential if treated properly. i like seeing new things in the cardgame and despite my overall dislike of the archetype atm, i look forward to what it has to bring. |

The main issue that I see as an outsider looking in on the design is that Tylar KNOWS he wishes to abolish ambush which I think is good for the element to change what it does but he has no idea WHERE he wants water to go next. This being the case, with no clear direction, water will take a SERIOUS decline until he figures out what he wants or reveals to us what his new plan is. I personally think water can play like mono blue in magic (flash fairie fomat) where you play most things on your opponents turn and dont do too much on your own turn. We see effects like this already with struggle and jugo (source of the cursed mark). Its fun, offers something different, and does something no other element does. Just my 3 and 1/2 cents.
