I agree, Kiba is not bad. Turn 1 in general is just too crowded for a mediocre card like him, even when we assume Ino Ch is banned. I would like Vanilla Kiba to be reprinted. His stats were incredibly versatile for a turn 0

I would assume the Lightning Blade that snipes is better at the moment unless you're lucky enough to be able to get a Kisuke or Gama to charge.

As for Kakashi Boyhood being a bit much...actually he isn't. It's Well Versed that makes him somewhat crazy but without Well Versed...then what? You can't use Assassinate with Boyhood. Past Well Versed and Assassinate (plus the OTHER Boyhoods) Kakashi doesn't have a lot of great cards. A couple of the Turn 4 ones are solid but nothing to really fear or be mad at even if they are dropped early.

So if and when Well Versed goes, Boyhood is just another solid 0 Drop for Fire that allows for more techy jutsu lineups as well (assuming you don't just go 3 Dragon Flame, 3 Backstab, 3 Subdue).

I'm not like zbkillaz, I don't look at the cards in and of themselves, I look at what do they do in this format

Summoning: Gedo Statue is cool and all, but, unless someone finds a way to break a tailed beast deck, I don't think it'll see play. Definitely a fun card though.

Well like I said, all relies on Well Versed. Well Versed makes Boyhood crazy. Boyhood is only as good as the Kakashis it can drop.


And as for Gedo Statue...it pretty much personifies the phrase "Well...that escalated quickly".

This is a lie, that boyhood would be an x3 in any fire deck no matter what Kakashi is in the format

As much as I wanted the gedo mazo to be an actual ninja card I can't say I don't love this card. Shino's dad or who ever can do it please make a token for this card.

the flavor of gedo is delicious but it doesn't make sense to have more than one in the deck considering how high the cost is; i doubt this card will impact the meta significantly

that being said this entire set seems like it's otk bait so maybe someone will find a way to make it consistent
