How is Hanzo bad though? Popping off either a whole team damage or a whole team kill at the cost of discarding him? He's not great, but he's definitely not terrible.

r u kidding? its a 6 drop so it has ALOT of competition. On top of that he discards himself immediately???? he could have just not discarded him self and he still would not have been a playable 6 drop. hes only decent when u have 2 of them in ur discard pile...but this theme has yet to be given a decent filter card, other than its main mission which requires them to be in ur hand.....and jutsu is just utter garbage a +x jutsu is RARELY ever good/playable and people compare these jutsus to the good ones in the format because these justus have to be able to win the eoj, which most of the time is the game decider, I have seen 1 playable jutsu for this theme so far (idk the name its the 1 the lets u loom at their hand a discard a card.) and thats only good because it locks ur opt out of dropping a legit ninja on their turn.

Imma just come in here and say.... Hanzo and the jutsu are trash lol. Period. Deva target promo is a legit better 6 drop than this Hanzo. Period. No matter what deck. And in Swordsman deck, Mifune is clearly a better choice. Not even a question, these two previews are garbage, next please.

well don't forget you can RFG ANY hanzo, including ones that are not impure res. too bad no hanzo's see any play currently. the jutsu is ok, the weapon deck could be alot better if there was any sort of decent negation for it. The only awesome thing it has going for it right now is for 1 turn you can play them all for free on a chain. But that's it, because if you get negated at any point in your chain, there is no current easy recovery if that happens because alot of the deck seems to rely thrive on chaining the jutsu together and piling on all the damage in one big hit.
