N-1099 & 1100

Hello again, I have a couple questions regarding the newly reprinted Pain ninjas

1) So I have N-1099 Human Path on my board and I activate his effect removing 2 cards from my opponents hand as the cost. Now I know that if his effect is interrupted via negation or removal, the effect fails to resolve, meaning the opponent does not get the 2 cards back at the end of the turn. Does moving the turn marker also work? I'm conflicted since the turn marker requirement is stated in the cost rather than in the effect such as N-1004 Preta Path. This leads me to believe that as long as the turn marker was even when the cost was paid, it is irrelevant whether the marker is even or odd upon resolution. Am I correct in this assumption?

2) This is another similar question. I have N-1100 Naraka Path and my turn marker is odd. My opponent then uses a counter mission with an odd entrance cost such as M-965 Idle Comrades since Naraka Path's effect is nullified on odd turns, and in response I activate a mission that moves my turn marker up, such as M-721 The Time of Pain. Would moving the turn marker up to an even turn stop the mission since it has an odd entrance cost, or would Naraka Path miss its timing since my opponent already activated the mission?

Thank you for your time as these are fairly tricky questions, but I feel that if used properly, they can create a great advantage for the player. Thanks again.

1. Correct.
2. You would miss the timing since the Mission was already played.
