Ruling please
Official Definition:*Valid: When this Ninja would be discarded, remove it from the game instead. In that case, target Ninja you control gets this Ninja cards effect text (except Inherit) as long as it remains in play.
Explanation: When a Ninja with INHERIT is discarded, it is removed from the game and another Ninja you control gains its effect text (except INHERIT). According to the mechanics explained above it simply states when this ninja is discarded. It further explains the effect when a ninja with inherit is discarded. Q1)What does the term discarded mean? Q2)If discarded occurs as a result of an effect is it considered discarded? |

Still vague to me.
I was more stuck on the parameters to using for discarded in reference to this mechanic. From which part of the game can this mechanic can be correct. a)in-play b)top of the deck c)hand |

A "Ninja card" refers to an out of play Ninja. When an effect says to "discard a card" it means to discard a card from hand.
