Look at hand/hand effects vs counter missions

Hello, my 1st question is if my NUS-025 Temari looks at my opponents hand and selects for example J848 could he or she chain M795 Guidance using the targeted jutsu as a hand cost?

My 2nd question is if my opponent discards a card at random from my hand with N658 Hinata Hyuga can I chain M795 Guidance using the targeted card as a hand cost or if Guidance itself was being targeted could I chain and play it?

My final Question is if my opponent uses N1099 Pain (human Path) effect during their turn and they select M795 Guidance and another fire card can I chain Guidance using both cards for the cost?

1. This is not possible. If you are looking at your opponent's hand, this means 's effect is resolving. You would have to finish resolving the chain before any new cards/effects can start a new chain.

OK thanks for the quick reply. Also what about effects that you choose what card to discard for like N1207 Hinata Hyuga (Kimono) could I chain M795 Guidance using the card I choose as the hand cost or would the answer be no just like questions 2 and 3?

While a chain is resolving, you cannot add new effects to the chain. The chain must finish resolving before new effects can be added.
