Hello, my question is if you play M960 Dark Aspirations can you chain N1245 Karin effect to make your opponent pick up only 1 of their 2 chosen cards?

You do not choose which cards to move from the discard pile to your hand until resolves. Your opponent would still move 2 cards to their hand (assuming they had at least 2 cards in their discard pile).
