Water/Void Turn Control
Okay, so Human Path is great if you can consistently negate his effect, and S26 Orochimaru is incredible if you have a source of turn marker ramping. Thus, I decided Void/Water could be a fun deck to play. It turns out the deck functions surprisingly well and I figured I'd post it here so people could see. Without further ado,
Ninjas: 3x 3x 3x 2x 3x 3x 2x 1x 2x 2x 2x 2x 2x Jutsus: 3x 3x 1x Missions: 3x 3x 3x 2x Clients: 2x Before you all rage too hard at running 6 T6's (though I might take one Mizukage out), realize that getting up to T6 is really easy in the deck; I've found that Ame Orphans/Nagato/Eyes of Pain bypass T3-4 or T4-5 most of the time. Samidare is in because he's Rain for Nagato CH, he has a decent Chakra control effect in case Kisame isn't enough, and he has a Water symbol. Between Karin and Naraka, it's pretty easy to stall until Suigetsu+Human Path or Orochimaru comes out. Mizukage is great with Orochimaru because she turns his effect into a snipe-kill plus she can negate Human Path on the opponent's turn. Kisame ramps the turn marker for Orochimaru, and Deva is pretty much a win button when the other paths are out. Spiral of Pain is incredible with Kisame, Orochimaru, the Madara client, Eyes of Pain, Ame Orphans, and Nagato. At worst it breaks even at drawing 2 over 2 turns. I've found myself in danger of decking out between this mission and Almighty Push. Let me know what you all think! EDIT: Button link for ninjas. EDIT2: Button link for the rest. Why no time of pain..... but I guess that would make you commit more to void...but karin is akatsuki..(well the heal one is)

Which almighty push are your running? Also
I'm kind of concerned about the lack of jutsu that can be used early in the game. If you can get to turn 6 quickly and get Deva out consistently to use push I suppose it wouldn't matter. I would try to fit time of pain but thats just me. |

In the early game Icon and Karin tend to buffer any hit I receive from unexpected jutsus, but you're correct that more accessible early jutsus could help. Push can be used defensively by the Paths on odd turns, but subbing out Snake Sword for an Adsorption Barrier might be a good idea (but Snake Sword is so good!). I haven't run into any decks that play too many devastating early jutsus though. Usually Human Path and Suigetsu hit the hand so hard every turn that it's not really an issue late game if I get the engine going. |

ado n: (Merriam-Webster)
1. Heightened fuss or concern 2. time-wasting bother over trivial details adieu n: (Merriam-Webster) 1. Farewell It's definitely "without further ado" as in "much ado about nothing" if you want to cut to the chase. "Without further adieu" would suggest "no more goodbyes", adieu being a direct loan word from French. The more you know... I remember taking a Linguistics course in my undergrad studies and there's a funny word for this substitution of similar-sounding words. After a quick Google search, voilà: Eggcorn. Merry Christmas everyone! EDIT: Background info: I know you used "without further adieu" in your Mt4 article because I read it ![]() |
