No discarding only applies at the end of your turn

you cant prevent that damage because the only way a ninja can win BR is by showdown

If I use pain human paths effect. To take two if I sacrifice human path for another. Are the first two locked. And the opponent can't get then or does his effect still resolve even if he isn't in the field.

they will get it back because the effect was not negated when it resolved
