Tree summoning is the win condition of the deck. But the ino is the main component of thedraw engine her limit would partially slow the deck and make it fair ish.

Limiting ino to 1 will slow the deck down as well as still keep it competitive. A +1 to your hand each turn that can be run in 3 makes it so strong in the fact that if she dies, you can just play another one

No one wants it obsolete but it should be noted that its the ONLY mechanic that was fleshed out and 100% complete in the first set. The others are ok at best. This means that its a touch over powered. With out tree and just cool effects when you revitalize it would be on the same level as the others. That being said the goal is to get the other mechanics to revitalize standards so people will want to play them all. This being the case in the mean time they will have to out shackles on its strength. Meaning ino or tree spam to one until they can fix the others. They just dont have the staffing to have a proper R&D that can truly test these things out. So ban list (as well as rotation) helps keep things balanced. But when they do fix the others I say bring it back full force and see how it fares.

Oh Warhawks too good. Better make a bunch more broken **** to make it "fair".
What makes warhawk good is that only fire has it.

No, what makes Warhawk good is that it's a +2 to your Hand. Creating more Warhawk-esque cards wouldn't even out the game; the game would just be faster than it is now, which isn't necessarily a good thing. Even if all the other elements got a great draw Mission, Fire still has the best Mission Negation in the game in the form of Missions and Ninjas, making it the dominant element.

As far as Earth goes, don't touch anything for now. See how it shapes the format. We have a general idea of how it's going to work but we don't have hard tournament results to support our arguments. Playtesting has proven that it's not impossible to stop STS and Ino, although it does get annoying. Nonetheless, keeping it as is is the best solution at the moment. I don't like playing against Revitalize as much as the next guy, but several decks can consistently beat/stop it.

Words of wisdom. I agree with MJM, leave earth alone for now.

I agree with some but not all of what you said. If you have a hand of mission negation and dont draw your war hawk to re fuel the hand its really not that strong. Its the combination. I am still sticking with war hawk at 2 and tree jutsu or ino to 1. Then other decks get a chance. Yes other decks can beat those two but what is the win ratio percentage? 1 out of 10 wins means squat. The consistency that war hawk or ino offers it what makes revitalize and fire-x so consistent and does the best at tournaments. Look at the results of the last few. Maybe I would change my tune with the introduction of the new set but I dont see any real meta changing cards, though we have some good sideboard cards! lol (Yes we have void but the amount of skill required to run it successfully will limit its popularity)

Example: Everyone is talking about JI and in play testing what makes it good is war hawk refueling your hand after the momumental minus when you combo. WHen hand is low... mind transfer is very scary...just sayin.... What normally would be a low percentage win strategy is now a "thing" because of what war hawk offers. Ino is also crazy but this is already a WALL OF TEXT.
