Its not just NVs though, everyone in my area that plays plays some variant of Rush, I just play Nvs because its the one I'm most familiar with, even with a side deck when you're playing Nvs giving up Br's of any kind can lead to problems, especially when your worst matchup is Free Br Deidara/Hidan, I don't like Risk Vs Reward cards, I'd rather play cards that don't help turn the game in my opponents favor, but like I said, that's just me.

are u not also playing these hidan/deidara cards? NVS isnt just genins i have been saying this for a while now, but NVS is a deck that wins a lot of random free Brs (sakura, hidan, deidara, nvs...etc.)

Traditional NVS was a rush deck that was a lot of genins (the one that gave 2 battle rewards per battle, not 1), I don't like the Free Br mechanics in core, I play it the way iruka-sensei taught me because its the way I'm most familiar with, even though cards are good if you start mixing in mechanics you have trouble playing you're going to do worse than the build you already know how to play.

That's how I've always played this game.

Reunion with the Former Teacher

3 Sasuke Uchiha - Solo Attitude
3 Neji Hyuga - Tenketsu
2 Shikamaru Nara - Outwit
2 Hinata Hyuga (Kimono)
1 Suiu
3 Rock Lee - Loopy Fist
1 Choji Akimichi - Infuriation
1 Tenten (Kimono)

3 Naruto Uzumaki - Tapping the Beast From Within
2 Shino Aburame - Insect Barrage
1 Ino Yamanaka - Stalwart Mind
2 Temari - Wind Scythe

2 Sakura Haruno - Identity Swap
2 Gaara of the Desert

1 Hinata Hyuga - Limitless Sight

3 Paper Bomb
3 Liger Bomb
1 Unexpected Attack

3 Nice Guy Pose
3 Wager
3 The Stone Council
2 Presents from Student
3 Naruto vs. Sasuke

Reinforcements
3 Inner Sakura
1 InoShikaCho

Here's my deck right now. It is a few cards off because there's a Hidan in there and I still can't find Stone Councils, which makes me sad. Won't be as important in next meta with Sakura's Tears.

I use Presents to refresh the hand. Naruto vs Sasuke becomes a T5 Mission in that case. Nice Guy helps when your opponent opens the same as you, and you need bluff chakra for your Bombs. Wager is just nuts good because it draws, injures, and sets up chakra.

Still testing Loopy Fist/Kimono combo. It is nuts when it works. Probably should run two Inos.

Deck changes a ton in the next set. So many ideas... There are a lot of things I'm considering.

Hidan and Deidara aren't that bad of card choices because this meta Naruto vs Sasuke is much harder to end the game. You'll find times where you need that last BR. I employ Stone Council. Hidan is an easy splash because he's on element, but Deidara is not. He will probably go away next set because I'll be strapped for room integrating Wind and the 4th.

How's liger bomb working out for you? I considered it but I wasn't sure about it.

Worked fine the only time I used it. I only play in Chunins now and we get one every other quarter because locals disappeared a while ago. I have enough Taijutsu users to make it a possible threat, but haven't had it completely swing a game.
