just let them be man, why the hell would you limit anyone's ability to freely make a blog site the way they want to? sure it may be opinion based but its their blog, not yours. if you wanted to judge and make better blogs, no one is stopping you. the idea is that people have the opportunity to make what they want, the way they want, and say what they want -- and you can't prevent that. you can be a harsh critic of their articles but that's not helping the community, simply telling them to make better articles. part of the reason why the naruto community is lacking support is because we shut down those who try to advertise and self-promote the game if they don't live up to the comparisons to a 2ezforum or mulltofour. let them writers write what they want and stop trying to dictate what they can and cannot write (goes to people against blogs like scoop phase).

I 3rd it, its ridiculous that we bash scoop phase...this is 1 of the few reasons why I hate America, if its not #1 we dont want it. It ****es me off some times

It's not that I hate it because it's not #1. So far it's made up entirely of rants against the games and first place reports that don't cover enough. How is that promoting the game?

"What's it like?"
"Well I win at locals."
"Ok, but what about the cards? What are they like?"
"Pretty much a waste of art because we have a better version why waste the 'precious art' god I hate it."
"I'll go back to Black Ops 2..."

A new player learns nothing from this blog. All it is is an extension of WoP's and OC's rant threads, but this time on a place where they can delete your comments if they don't like it. They haven't done anything else but complain or brag. It's not helpful for the community, or for new players. Might as well email Topside and tell him to come back. At least he reviewed cards.

First off, we have never deleted someone's comments.

I like the idea of a new players guide post thing. Expect that to pop up soon

I never claimed you did, but you do have the ability. I do think you guys would keep the comments up regardless, but it's nice having the power to delete stupid.

And yes! A new user guide! It would be a nice addition, one that I could get behind. How about some guest reviews? Find forums goers that would review a set of a few cards and post it on your blog. Have something that would give new players a better look into the game. Or even elemental reviews. Once a week, they review a set number of cards from a specific element, talk about why they fit in with the meta, if they do, what they combo with in element and out. It would be a very nice change of pace. Give new players ideas of some of the combos on here.

Anything relevant can be found on this site, right here. anything else is usually on the more main stay blogs run by community vets. I go through this entire blog (on one page) and I get:
Angry butthurt rant (Set 28)
Locals Win
Locals Win
Angry butthurt rant (Lack of Art)
Bad version of Perm Earth deck.
Set 27 meta
Some sorta....review?.....rant? idk. something about building a Naruto vs. Sasuke deck, which anyone thats been playing and here more than 3 months can do really.

How is that helpful? thats not promoting. 2 of those posts do nothing but bash the game in it's entirety. If anything people are being to LENIANT on this horriblog.

I agree with the first two thirds, but the last one I think they should go for. My reasoning: comments are delegated to the bottom, after the article. Even if they just asked you and got the ok to copy/paste yours, if they wanted to add to it it wouldn't be after 4 pages of "HoW dO i DrAw?" that some newbies write. Even if it's a repeat, it would still be the most informative article posted there.

My point remains on that though. If I were looking for a newbie guide to the community, what's the first place to look: the official Naruto CCG Bandai forums, or a sub-sub-blogspot that sorta talks about the game itself when it feels like it?
I honestly don't care if they copy and paste mine, with proper crediting, but the guys dont even bother linking to these forums on their blog so I mean, why bother posting guidlines on there?
