None of you are helping. There are actually people out there who believe extremely specific card combinations dictate the playability of a card.

Which isn't necessarily a bad thing. It depends on how difficult the combination is to pull off and how many cards are involved. The combo described above seems very unlikely to ever take place. But to say that JI + Sasori wouldn't be very consistent, as an example, would be foolish to simply dismiss because it's a specific combination or as the OP stated, a best cast scenario.

Yes, Jonin's Intervention is good because of the Jonins it can pick up.

No, Jonin's Intervention is not good because you need a Jonin in your hand to do it (although if you have Set 26 Sakura in play, you can do a blind JI on 2 and hope you swap into a Jonin with the mission on the chain).

Yes, Masked Man is cool because he lets you drop extra Tailed Beasts when he's around.

NO, Masked Man is Not good because you can JI him and then drop Tailed Beasts on Turn 1, because that Won't Happen 9 out of 10 times.

I suppose i'll be serious. I agree that a lot of people get way to excited on combos that are near impossible. Case in pint the over excitement on JI + Masked Man + Tailed Beast in hand.

I more or less judge combos in tiers of what it helps, how early/late, is the payoff worth it, and consistency. Some people can just over think stuff though and they pull out these crazy combos and then insist they are good.

to be fair i flipped when I thought u could JI MM 9 tails.....thank (the possibly real but probably not)god i was wrong XD
