good article, I do agree that earth is top tier, however imo feel that the top tier version of earth is revitalize.

We just feel that PermEarth can do just as well considering that Revitalize needs to use the Battle phase while PermEarth does not. Granted, there are more counters to PermEarth than there are to Revitalize. Thanks for the feedback though, any other comments or suggestions would be appreciated.

But that's my personal playstyle. I heard someone else recommend the First Stallkage that when you have a discard pile only tree ninjas can attack, and every turn moves 3 cards to bottom deck. |

That's another reason we didn't run Kurotsuchi. There would be no way I would play her instead of Yamato or Deidara. Zetsu already gives me "infinite" coins. Basically what I'm saying is, when you get to Turn 5/6 you want to start winning Battle Rewards, not restoring yourself. Also Naruto/Yamato is nice to have but we don't always try to go into it. A lot of times I'd rather have Yamato out to put stuff back in deck, other times I just pitch Yamato for 2 BRs. I find myself going into Naruto/Yamato to fetch out Determination or, if Determination no longer is available, Untold Destruction or BBQ to dig for Deidara if I don't have it yet. |

I enjoyed the article. Glad to see there's someone else out there who knows how to build earth perm. Granted I didn't really learn anything because I'd already played around with perm earth builds and had already learned the awakening tech etc. But don't take that negatively, I'm sure other people found it very enlightening. This just tells me you know what you're talking about. Keep em comin!
Edit: Also, I'm glad someone with some weight around here is saying that Earth is top tier. Because it is. I've been saying it for a while but everyone's focused on fire/lightning. |

Earth is great. I prefer it over Fire at the moment.
Another thing I would like to see in addition to the decks are list made to counter it. That way the obvious flaws, or even some of the hidden ones, could be pointed out. It would help people think twice while making decks, which would improve the play base overall I think. Or a sideboard for each deck that can drastically change it up and give a new tactic. |

I liked the article a lot. Although I would run the deck differently, it was very cool seeing someone else using permanent earth and realizing its potential. Unfortunately new tofu and temari hurt the deck a lot next set.
