Beyond that, if your playing fire right, on turn 6, you have your Kakashi/Sasuke And the Third out, why would you want to kill it?...Then factor in the use of warhawk and possibly Susano'O...
I think the ability to remove a team counteracts that cost. Especially with original Susano'o or that Orochimaru out.

I agree with you. 3rd and high-drop 4ths are too valuable to give up unless you hit something incredibly important. Just having 3rd on the field puts your opponent in a very bad position so it's not a card you want to easily let go of. The new Flashpont 4th, the only usable one in block, will rarely ever be on the field anyways so he doesn't make such a great user either.

I can see a deck possibly running 4th Childhood, Reaper Death Seal, and maybe Messenger Ninja though. 4th CH can also use Rasengans and Dragon Flame without much trouble. If only were still in block, then Childhood could squad with Naruto on T7 then go into Sage Mode or use Reaper Death Seal to dish out quite a bit of damage in one turn...

I still don't think RDS will see much play in block especially because Fire already has so many cards that give battle rewards. If your opponent gets 2 early BRs off Sasuke [SA] and you play Warhawk and Hidan, RDS will put you up to 8 and you've almost lost the game to any sort of random effect. A Reaper Death Seal on T4 by 4th CH with Kurenai chained on could be pretty sweet though.

Honestly, I see RDS as a card that people will avoid playing because of the overall cost, but then they get destroyed by it by someone who knows how good it really is.

Anyway, decklist made. Gotta try unlimited before block.

its obviously a strong card i dont think anyone is arguing that, what i think people r saying is that with a cost like that and requirements like that, and 2 not 1 but 2!!!! major downsides....the cards just not worth it in the long run, there will be more games where u wont want to play it or u did and u lost than games that it actually gave u an advantage.

The way I see it, and I understand where you and the others are coming from, the pros outweigh the cons. The best way to use it would be as a trump card. Like if your 3rd or 4th was about to get killed, using that would definitely change the game. Using at as the first offense, unless you KNEW you could pull it off, is a bad idea. There are definitely better cards. But this one can be techy. I think it'll show up and a large portion of the base will change their opinion.

the way i think of it, snake sword set 22 is 10x better than this and see next to no play

I get your point, but I still think this can be a trump.

It would be OKAY if it didnt remove the user. Its practically a turn 6 jutsu that gives your opponent BRs at a moderately high chakara cost. Snake Sword and Emotion Wave are better options.

Soooo did people casually forget that the 4th Childhood was reprinted? I'll gladly pay 4 chakra on T2 to potentially remove an entire team, score potentially just as many BRs, and throw them off tempo the rest of the game.
Otherwise, late game you basically use this + Role reversal (which this is a lightning/fire deck here, we all know the chakra it can gain) so your Turn 0 just wiped a high powered team. RDS is a great card. Love it. Role Reversal.dec is becoming a viable thing.

Also on other previews:
Obito is pretty good. Get stronger while (long as you aren't stupid) they get weaker. Could score potential OVs as well.
Kakashi (Boyhood) is awesome in jutsu heavy decks/decks that manipulate top cards
Also like that Suigetsu.
Kakuzu makes me lol. Yeah, i'd love the potential to have stuff like Killer Bee, Any Kage, or a few tech options as early as T2
Lords convene is a great card. Never dead because if you need a drop you can potentially drab one, and if you don't but have no mission to play, take a chance on a better drop!
Sparring is meh. Good in lightning/Aggro decks.
