An Approaching Wind carries word of a Fateful Reunion between two Ninjas bearing an Eternal Rivalry. It is their Battle of Destiny that has been written of in the Foretold Prophecy, a moment when Shattered Truths are brought to bear, and Dream Legacies are realized.

But the Curse of the Sand, trapped in the Coils of the Snake, still walks The Path of Pain, on his Quest for Power after being forsaken by his sensei, the greatest of men to walk this Earth. The Tales of the Gallant Sage depict him as a wise man, who worked hand in hand with the man who walked the Path to Hokage. But now, those who are written within the Lineage of Legends have retired, while the one bearing the Fangs of the Snake still lives.

Fortunately, Emerging Alliances are forming across the Ninja world, and the Will of Fire still burns deep within some few great Shinobi. Despite Broken Promises, those who are willing to answer the call have been summoned to continue the Sage's Legacy.

A Kage Summit has been called, and the Weapons of War have been unleashed. The Invasion must be stopped at all costs. Who will be able to hold back the Avenger's Wrath?

In these dark and foreboding times, do those few special Ninja still have what it takes to defeat this evil?

Will we once again bear witness to a Hero's Ascension?
