I enjoy that the implication of this statement makes it sound like you've had previous girlfriends in the past that you tried to teach a card game too, and only until you stopped, did you end up keeping your current girlfriend.

I don't feel like right now is a good time to introduce my girlfriend to this particular game.

Our TCG of choice is Pokemon.

i had an ex that got into it b/c of chibi sets. my new GF thinks its to complicated and doesn't have interest in it, but wants to play kaijudo w/ me. rather her play naruto, but a win is a win no matter how you look at it.

my girl friend knows how to play, but once she gets out kakashi she says that she won and wont play the rest of the game

My first time back here in three years and this is what I return to. *wistful sigh*

I am a female, as some of you might remember. You might not want my input, but I have the same problem with my, uh, mate.

He can't focus long enough to even learn the basic mechanics. I've tried with Naruto, Pokemon, Magic and Vanguard. It just doesn't appeal to him. I also tried to get him into DnD, but that was a failure of collosal proportions.

He successfully got me back into hockey, which I haven't been a fan of since the Dayton Bombers were around, so I figured he might like to try some of my hobbies... Alas, he has not the attention span.
