Question about cards and series

I just recently started naruto and I had some old cards that I had bought when I was younger and I was told I could not play with them. So I was wondering which is the oldest series I can use. Also which structure decks can I use, just bought the current earth deck and wanted to use some of the older earth cards.

Okay so I read the rule guide on the forum and it said 5-7 of the previous series. So basically anything from The Path to Pain can be used, unless stated otherwise.

The sets that are legal for Block Format are Sets 22 and up. You can also find a list of legal sets at the top of the page under "Organized Play > Tournament Formats > Block Format."
