Meta Talk: Elements Rank.
In terms of overall strength where you line up your elements? what order? and why?
here is my ranking Fire: IMO has the most versatility and power, from draw power to control aspects. In my head this is the clear cut #1 choice this meta as an element. wind: wind finally gets some jutsu and strong ninja's to back up its high powered draw capability. players are no longer drawing into mass amounts of nothing. earth: can control a game from start to finish if goes unchecked lacks draw but makes up for itself in control lightning: lacks a backbone and with no more "go to" lightning cards has dropped way down this meta. water: lost everything, it's going to take some time to pick up this wounded horse. void: uhhh....almighty push? idk discuss...... |

Lightning: Very straight forward but beats all the other elements in jutsu strength, Combat and rush potential. Has the most viable deck types of all the elements and has gained a new engine.
Earth: It lost very little and with combination of wind along with it's mental power capabilities along with it's negation makes it a incredible contender amongst the others. Fire: Izanagi along with the best mission negation and counter mission draw makes it very powerful. But loses against sheer force of +1+1 and burst or Mental power. It's justu's are good but a bit specific and not quite as aggressive as before. Overall it's main sufferage was the loss of early game chakra generation. Wind: It's more so tied with Fire but it falls below it because 2 of it's 3 primary deck types are shut down single handedly by Shimon and Shino. Other than that it has the best draw, Healing and very good removal effects. But overall flashpoint and puppets are too easily countered. Water: It's lost alot and though it's not dead. It's no where near the powerhouse it once was and the "giving chakra" theme didn't help it at all. But it can partner very well with other elements especially lightning to bring some major wreckage. |

1) Earth: Has 3 deck themes, (Revitalize, Perms, and Mind Trans.dec, not to mention you can just make some kind of mental power deck) although Revitalize isn't that great. Has the best search in the game (Shika's Decision) as well as the best jutsu imo (Mind Trans). Perm decks get great draw off of Messengers and Zetsu, and the element can easily be combined with other ones for awesomness.
2) Fire: Has ridiculous amounts of mission negation, Dragon Flame, and some really good as hell ninjas. (Hidan, Sasuke, Susano'o, Danzo, Kakashi [Assassinate], etc) Oh,and let's not forget the best draw missions in the card game, Warhawk and Guidance. 3) Wind: Amazing draw power still, a fleshed out puppets theme, some great new jutsus from set 26 and some good late game (En No Goya, 5th Hokage, 5th Kazekage). As well as Secret Book and Futaba healing draw engine. Downsides is that puppets is really all they have, which can be taken apart by targeting a few key cards on their field. Too much stalling when Sabiru can negate Puppet Mode. 4) Lightning: Mostly weapon theme is what's viable right now and maybe tailed beasts. Burst/taijutsu is ok. Not the greatest tho. Lacks draw power except Inari's Decision. Builds chakra still though. 5) Water: Lack of jutsus and draw power outside of chakra giving theme. Not awful though, just nowhere near as strong as earth or fire. It can catch up with the right cards from next set or two. |

because earth is top tier.
fire has insane draw and jutsus lightning has dango, which is broken as f water has my chakara give deck and wind is.... just wind... no real win condition besides chiyo stall void is there only to troll |

I say the same to you.
1. Earth 2. Fire 3. Wind 4. Water 5. Lightning I feel that's the order even though that Fire/Lightning and Fire/Wind could be better than Earth. I've done very little playing in this format so it's really a toss up at this point. |
