ex: Shimon is in a village. I play Shameful Actions targeting my opponents ninja being deployed. My opponent picks option #2 to put in play another ninja. Does Shimon prevent that? If no, then why?


2. I chain Shameful Actions targeting a ninja being deployed with an arbitrary put in play effect. Does this mission prevent that effect from working since it's leaving the field?

1b. If he does pick option #2 to put in play a ninja, and Shimon prevents it, can he change his mind to draw 2 cards after attempting to put in play a ninja?

1. Shimon would prevent option 2.
1b. No, your opponent cannot "change their mind" after selecting an effect.
2. Yes, if chained to the Ninja entering play, then the put in play effect has not resolved yet. Since the Ninja will not be in play when it tries to resolve, it will fail.
