Unlimited tournaments?

It would be nice to have some (not many) low level unlimited tournaments. I like seeing the old cards and to go to a tournament (other than hobby league) would be nice. Any ideas? and if so why would it be a good idea or bad idea to do this.

Can't chinins beforehand be called for block or unlimited? I'm curious if that would be even possible.

Latest CT Chunin was Unlimited Format. We had around 34 people show up.

Huh, that's more than any Block tournies I heard of
Maybe all 4th QT chunins should be unlimited.

that is alot. I say once in a blue moon should they have unlimited tournaments that aren't hobby leagues

Alot of people who started collecting recently don't have access to all the different cards and playing styles seen in early sets. for them, block tournaments give them a chance to play with what they have without having to worry about someone killing them with early juggernaut cards like Tsunade & Katsuyu. I think that unlimited tournaments should occur maybe 20 % of the time so that the game is still enjoyable for these people.
