Just Got me Mad/Thinking

So I attended the Quest Comics Chunin in Carrolton G.A. and boy was it a huge let down, but not for the reasons I was thinking (No it wasn't the prize support). It was the extreme lack of attendees. There were a total of 7 players present for an event created for 20-40. Now there are some reasons that I have noted which might have brought that amount down by a little bit (I.E. AWA, the Cali SJC, etc) BUT SEVEN PEOPLE !!!!. I live in North G.A. and with the lack of card shops up here I had to dive a good distance to get there and for not even 10 people to show...... Saying that I'm irritated is a gross understatement. Not even the fact that the staff and prize support were amazing (which they were) could make up for that small of a turn out. I went to a chunin there about 3 years back and it was packed and to see it now with just seven makes this game just seem so depressing for me.

/end Rant

But enough of the bad stuff, now I want to talk about the one good thing that did come out of this experience. This opened my eyes to make a card shop up here in North G.A. for those of you that have to travel much F A R Ther then me. There must be dozens of players up here that are like me and just don't want to make the trip for just a hand full of players. I just wish that I had thought of it earlier.

So this is what I want to know, who of you are in the North Georgia area and would like to have a card shop up here, obviously it will take a bit of time, but my friend and I have be working on a small business for a couple of months now and making it a card shop as well would be a piece of cake. But I need to know a round estament of Naruto/Magic/Yu-Gi-Oh players we might get to see if its worth it.
