Draft? I prefer sealed. But I could play a draft format.

I think because In draft you can get the short end of the stick and be given all the cards no one else wanted but in sealed its random what you can get and you don't have to rely on opponents giving you good/bad cards.

Each pack you get in sealed won't net you all perfect cards either, and draft grants you the ability to build more advanced decks than sealed. Plus you can strategize based on what the opponent can get. To each their own though.

The only good draft is Cube Draft. I have to update mine for Set 25 though, and maybe 26 in a month or so.
And to clarify ahead of time, Cube Draft is the following (numbers in ( ) are alternate values that work as well): Take the 400 (600) best cards in the game, divided evenly across all elements. Sleeve them all. Shuffle really well. Divide them into 40 (40) stacks of 10 (15). Each stack is a booster pack. Each player gets 4 booster packs to draft with. This configuration supports 10 players. For eight players, the normal standard for drafts, the numbers are 400 (600) total, 40 (40) packs of 10 (15) each. Players each get 5 boosters. Last edited by Shino'sDad : 09-27-2012 at 11:07 PM. |
