Why not comparative strengths?
Other than that, that would be a list I would make. |

What about comparative strengths?

Comparative Strengths was hardly in any deck at the Unlimited event this year or the year before. It prevents OTK-based decks and stops power decks like True Allies. It needs to be in meta for the same reason Sealing Barrier does. Plus, Hina (a staple) stops it dead.

If even half of this list were to go into effect, i'd play unlimited very often.
People who know me will admit, THAT says something. |

Something else I didn't mention in the article:
There are quite a few infinite combos still in Unlimited, but most of them are later in the game and not too devastating (or consistent). And there are always answers out there (and many). There are also many cool combos that people have forgotten. Flamingo Lock is really sexy, for those old school players (like me) who remember that far back. Flamingo Lock = + But, there are some new school possibilities: + lol... |

Comparative strengths with kakashi true allies is broken.
It gets the hina treatment, kakashi gets it back and its in play again straight away. This is *the* most maddening thing in the game for me. I would be sad to see 4 times faster go. I think it's fair because both players get the boost. I've always done well out of my opponent playing it. Last edited by crudematter : 09-16-2012 at 11:27 PM. |

I think the list is fine the way it is. Though gradually over the years as the game evolves, I'd like to see the list disappear. That's not gonna happen anytime soon though. My point though is I think ur getting to ban happy. Learn to adapt. Granted this would be easier if there was more large tournaments nationwide.
