floating chakra
considering this thread: http://www.bandai.com/naruto/showthread.php?t=95593&highlight=ink+mouse
I just had a question. When chakra is considered double, does this game consider chakra as floating upon paying for it, kind of like the mana pool in magic? The post above assumes that we can do the following properly: 1. Use ink mouse, pay 3 (therefore 6) lightning chakra, put two ink cards that each cost 3 into play. Is this correct? A. My question therefore focuses on the timing window for when we can use this payment. In MTG the mana would empty during each phase of the game. So for the above example, would paid chakra disappear after the mission phase? B. Additionally, does this same rule apply during the exchange of jutsu? That is to say, if i activated ink mouse's effect and we go into the EOJ, i pay 1 lightning to play a jutsu that costs 1, the chain resolves... then later on during the EOJ do I have the ability to play another jutsu that costs 1 for free since I technically played it before. Thanks in advance. |

Quote:
1. This is not correct. You can only activate 1 affect at a time. You would activate 1 Ink effect, pay the cost, and it goes on the chain. Priority passes to your opponent then back to you. You could then activate a 2nd Ink effect, pay the cost, and it goes on the chain. If you overpaid for the 1st effect, the extra Chakra does not float and is not available to be used later. B. No.
