I want something like the Warbound from VS System. In that theme whenever something got hit you could remove it from the game and any character named Hulk you controlled would get some kind of neat effect. I want to see something like that happen in here.

Like have a bunch of cards that support Sasuke. Have a Karin that when removed by its effect allows a Sasuke to heal at the end of every turn. A Jugo that gives Sasuke +2/+2. It wouldn't be a competitive theme but it would be a fun one. And think of all the people Sasuke sacrificed to get what he wanted. Naruto (almost), the entire Sound Five, Orochimaru, an argument could be made for Itachi, and Karin literally.

Like plusing off of sharing nin from same villages, but good not like the bodyguards from summit

Or each village has a similar type of effect or end goal
I was considering this for awhile, but with the war upcoming, the thought of a "village" is virtually nonexistent IMO.

Agree? Disagree?

I disagree. With the war right around the corner. It makes it even better for village themes. We get to see more ninjas in each village and each village has their own special types of fighting styles and jutsus.

Cloud- taijutsu,weapon
Leaf- ninjutsu, taijutsu
Sand- sand,puppets,weapons
Mist- sensory, weapons
Rock- earth, ninjutsu

To me now would be the perfect time. IMO

Even though every character put aside their "village history" for the sake of the allied shinobi army? They made it a point to show this shift in the anime and partially in the manga.

I agree with wanting the theme, however you also make a point that we are approaching the "Allied Shinobi Alliance" section in the story. It's a pretty big deal since, even though leaf and Sand became allies after the invasion incident, the other 3 villages still didn't trust either of them, but put that aside for the sake of stopping "Madara" and the war.

So basically, if you can somehow make that theme work in an upcoming set, then hell yeah! Heck, maybe make a special set that focuses on that theme (call it "Village Pride" or something)
But if it conflicts with the story line to much, or you feel you can't really pull it off, then no worries.

Or it can be called something like "Roots" or "Origins" (i like the idea of the title being about where villages started)

It could come in during the part where ppl are getting revived, seeing as you get to see village specific techniques, and the villages are learning things about the other ones that they didnt know about before.

I do see how it conflicts though because they are forming a union, why should theyre effects be biased.

Lol another idea, when they get to the war, they could have battle company bonuses or effects; ones based off of plusing for being from the same division.

Why not dedicate a tournament pack to that? I know it probably would be a lot bigger, but one pack where, instead of continuing the storyline, a set dedicated to showing how the villages work together would be pretty cool.
