I have but one prediction...more like specuculation, and that is The 2nd hokage is involved because what kind of good guy invents impure world resurrection? Besides, he's the only kage who we have almost no info on, which means he's has to be involved at least a little so that we get at least some info on him. Besides, the 2nd is supposed to be able to do space time ninjutsu as well.

I've been thinking that for a while. Could be another reason why he adopted the name "Tobi". SInce his name is "Tobirama Senju".

we didnt know the specifics of shisui's death, we were simply told things and we chose to believe them. then later we saw a flashback of the truth

the only thing that has really changed about the uchiha clans history is that its up in the air whether or not izuna had his eyes forcibly taken, or if he sacrificed them for the sake of making his brother a demigod.

like with shisui, we really didnt know much about the tailed beasts history or the history of what happened on naruto's birthday or anything like that. it was heresay. and if you mean the itachi stuff, thats still not really a contradiction since thats just us getting the full story. nothing we learned about what really went down that night truly changes what we knew, and all we knew is that he killed the clan. and he did. we simply learned his reasons for doing it.

those aren't contradictions of what we know as much as they are simply us not having all the facts.

we saw the flashbacks of jiraiya and the rain orphans. we know without a doubt how that stuff went down. no heresay involved. no rumors. no people guessing or assuming. we saw it. thats not remotely the same thing as .


there have been few true contradictions. for example in the recent chapter, everyones ages are screwed up in that flashback.

and even if the manga WAS full of contradictions, those contradictions are kishimoto's to make. you arent allowed to contradict manga info to fit your predictions. thats not a prediction, thats just you making crap up.

those reasons for it being tobirama are better than everything in the original post for it being izuna. THEY aren't blatantly making stuff up or changing preexisting info to make the theory work.

all they did was say "i think its 2nd hokage" and the reasons are

-edo tensei is a shifty jutsu and good guys GENERALLY don't invent shifty jutsu

-his name matches, which, originally, is virtually all we had to go on with tobi = obito

-he was said to be good with sapce-time jutsu

its far from perfect and i personally don't think its tobirama, not based on this at least. but theirs wasnt based on a shifty fake interview or inventing fake stuff. much more acceptable than "izuna trained and took care of the rain orphans because i said so even though we know that was jiraiya and because izuna is the most powerful uchiha ever"

Tobi couldn't be Tobi, his Soul was sealed by the 3rd.
He could have been involved tho.

This is what I meant. I feel There has to be some connection with the 2nd hokage to all of this if not solely because this whole war revolves around a jutsu he created. Also there just isn't enough info out there About him yet, kishi usually gives a good back story on characters before they're killed off, even if they have already died. Ex: obito, the 1st hokage (mostly characters speculating on how strong he was), kushina, neji's dad, third hokage, 3rd raikage etc...they were all dead and he still gave us info on him. Besides its odd that both madara and orochimaru knew the jutsu so well.

What's your point? the 4th hokage got sealed by that god of death way before the 2nd did, and we saw the 4th's chakra was still left behind. He was still able to speak and act (he used jutsu inside naruto's mind, albeit only for a little while) According to the way they revived orochimaru (who was also sealed away), as long as someone's chakra is left behind, they can be revived. That's what I see. That being the case, it's just as viable that tobirama was able to come back too.

Now I'm not saying that I think it's tobirama, as there are factors for several candidates all over the place. That being said, it isn't as 'debunked' as that.
