Woah.
I mean, even if the interview is fake, being fake, it still makes more sense than "Obito being Tobi", heck, it was even better when they said Madara was Tobi. Now, I supposed that because Yamato looked like Hiruko, he was Hiruko. And because Tobi said he was Madara, he was Madara. And, if Naruto, a Genin, Mastered and created his own Transformation Technique, a full grown man, leader of Akatsuki and insanely genius person couldn't make a better way of looking like someone else. Also back in Chapter 510, when Tobi gets his mask broken by Konan, his left eye had a black sclera, something that revived people have. I could proceed, but have no time. Mr. ACTION******, sir, I urge you to reconsider making your mind, a little more, flexible. This series have proved that anything can happen, and he always tell us how and why. Tobi can be Obito, but he has to explain more and risk getting less viewers that way. |

But hey, let's give Obito a try. Who says Oro couldn't have played with Obi's feelings. I mean, Man-i-pulation.
Um... you know what, Obi not being Tobi DOES sound better. |

oh nooo nejifan thinks im bad at arguing, if only i cared about his opinion, since you know he's such an amazing debater and all. my argument did what it was supposed to do, point out why what they were saying was full of crap. beyond that, i really don't care. and I didn't say anything that was untrue. and I'm not bias at all. theres no doubt in my mind it might not be obito, afterall, kishimoto is a terrible writer Quote:
Quote:
the difference between him being izuna and him being obito or madara is that we had some amount of reason to believe those things. he said he was madara, some people came to the conclusion of him being madara on their own, etc. and he clearly at the absolute very least has obito's body, his name is reminiscent of obito, and he speaks as though he knows kakashi, implying that his connections to obito are more than superficial. however we have 0 reason to even consider it being izuna. you are MAKING evidence after drawing a conclusion instead of letting the evidence point you to a conclusion. you are, quite literally, doing it wrong. Quote:
considering the connections to obito werent concrete and him being madara was better than obito and considering some, such as the 4th hokage naturally thought it was madara on their own without having to be told he was madara, and the fact that seemingly everyone in the ninja worls who hears him say "im madara!" believes he's madara with little to no questions asked...yeah, yeah I'd say we had reason to believe he was madara, even if it turned out not to be true Quote:
and nejifan called ME the troll. Quote:

honestly I have no idea why everyone here seems to think that me disagreeing with bad baseless guesses means that im somehow inflexible or whatever. that's simply not true. it just takes more than fake interviews, that sounded fake as heck, to persuade me. they not strengthen your argument based on whats been said instead of going "nuh uh, it could be izuna because it COULD be" all I did originally was point out why the things you were saying were wrong such as the rain orphan thing, which even your partner in crime agreed was 100% false and even if you dont want to take into account what I said about each piece of your guess, now that I confirmed the interview is fake you should probably completely rework your ideas for WHY its izuna. because lets be honest, without that interview a good chunk of what you were saying there is invalid. heck even with the interview some of it was invalid. I don't think we have enough info to make an accurate prediction atm. But after seeing Sasuke revive Orochimaru through Anko's curse mark, we might be dealing with something similar to a horcrux...

Either way, the truth is that Tobi may be any Uchiha, except Madara, Itachi or Sasuke. He may be a new character, he may not. The idea of him being Obito isn't that Bizarre, and I find it cool, but it seems so strange that Narubito could turn into A Masked Mastermind with a **** for controlling the whole world. But let's see it from this perspective; What if Obito doesn't want revenge against Kakashi, what if he was damaged emotionally by his death and the way he died. What if he harbored, or was manipulated into harboring hatred inside of him? Anyway, it just seems to easy for him to be Obito. I also find Obito to be really cool-lookin' though. |

I think the next form of speculation is rightly to focus less on "Who is Tobi?", but now on "Who is Obito?" There could be many possible scenarios dealing with the true Obito's motives, plus possible scenarios where Obito is a shell for someone else (similar to Orochimaru). |

ideas should be fluid and evolving. if you or someone else finds a hole in your idea, you should either look for ways to strengthen it or you abandon it if its beyond saving. instead of doing either of those you guys just sit here calling me a troll and telling me "but but but what if?" I'm not saying the what if doesn't exist, I'm just saying that this particular version of the what if doesn't work. not at the moment at least. Yeah... Nothing has EVER changed in the Naruto Series... NOTHING.
Example; Uchiha Clan History Example; Shisui's death Example; Tailed Beast's story I could keep going... |
