this event will start at 11:30 you will need a deck list to enter the event {we will have forms on hand at the event but you can use any pretyped or pre writen list}
this will be a block event and cost $5 and anyone late to the event {show up after we start the first round} will receave a loss for the first round no exceptions

the reason for this push back is vangaurd and magic have lanches and pre release events on the orignial date of the 29th and it will effect atendence a great deal i am sorry for this delay i hope it doesint mean anyone will be unable to atend the event i look forward to seeing everyone there

first off before anything else i contacted bandai asking if this was ok before event discusing with the venue owner

the original event date was set up and it was the prerelease for the new magic set and the release for the new vangaurd set i moved the event to the week of nycc/nyaf a convention that i go to every year i cant go to my con because i will be runing this event the new date wasint picked for my convenience the reason the new block is legal for it is simply because of the date being after rotation this wasint intended the prizes for the event will not be difrent because of this no special treatment is being given for any partys involved except the players

if either of the 2 of you have any problim with this event or how i run things your welcome to not atend the event i only ever run my events as fairly and for the player as posable i go out of my way to get extra free stuff to throw at players out of my own pocket and keep the events at the standerd $5 entry i dont force people to play in them however they are the best events around sorry if you both dont feel that way

You know I just like rustling people's jimmies sometimes, and since you were sort of harping on other people for wanting to wait until after rotation for their Chunin or making it post rotation a bit early, I was just equalizing the field.

nick i know you verry well and i wasint harping anyone sence most stores post chunin info and leave there posts alone for a long time i was replying to the questions asking what sets were legal as the store itself has no say on the matter based on date if they to had to put there chunin later it would be no problim the harping i did was at some rude players who were being abrasive the rules are the rules was my point i had legit reasons to move this event i checked with the company first then the venue owner then the local player base then made the final desision there was no better way to handel this situation
