I like Haku and the second mission. Let's hope last preview doesn't let us down

Water is looking pretty terrible so far, hopefully it picks up. I like the Kisame they previewed a while back, but last week's and this week's water previews have been pretty disappointing.

Maybe Water has been successful in so many past formats that they decided it would be just mediocre in the new meta?

hakus gud. Chakra give only seems viable with chakra disturbance or nin phantoms jutsu.

Zabuza is pretty beast. These kind of effects, as well as BR getting or Jutsu recycling, are what would make this deck amazing.

Zabuza and Haku are now beautiful. Zabuza becomes an unstoppable jutsu machine thanks to his companion. How I wish chakra giving was a more viable deck idea..would have loved running these two. Let's hope for better things in the future.

With that in mind, if you opponent has let's say, 9 chakra, and you play a jutsu, thinking "It can't get negated or anything since my opponent has 8 or more chakra" you'd be in for a poor deal when they discard two chakra to play a negation and suddenly have only 7 chakra, meaning that their negation is going to work on that jutsu now.

Well in his example he did technically say he was starting with 9 chakra then paying 2. I always thought you paid chakra before doing anything, including picking a target.

on situations when you still have 8+ chakra i thought it was the same as how shinosdad posted and to some extent is posted in your link. You play a jutsu it goes on chain, you chain jutsus till you are under 8 chakra. When things resolve you make sure you can target jutsus (are under 8 chakra)
