He had wood style but he appearently couldn't use it other than to save his life. I mean for crist sake sasuke killed him 10 times. Someone please tell me why he should be one of the best cards ever.

This will sound like a fanboy rant, so I apologize, but Danzo is one of the most powerful ninjas to ever live. In many ways, he is supposed to be as good as the 3rd Hokage, the "God of the Ninja World", as he grew up along side Hiruzen. He possesses Kage-level Wind jutsus, even including manifesting elemental weapons, his Sealings are equally powerful (especially his final seal), he has access to two Kekkei Genkai he wasn't born with, and even if he can't use them to the greatest of their ability, when he doesn't waste the whole of his Shisui Sharingan on the Shisui stunt (which takes a decade to recharge, except for Danzo, who got it down to a day), he's among the most proficient with the Sharingan Eye, effortlessly defeating over a dozen ninja-assassins alone. His various skills are all advanced, and his variety is even more fearsome. Add to that he can use Izanagi, which makes him invincible, temporarily. Granted, Sasuke won, but Danzo could have been holding back, knowing he couldn't die, waiting for Sasuke to slip up, and he managed to persevere against every trick Sasuke has, breaking through a few of them (Tsukuyomi) with ease. Sasuke mostly won because of the "this generation has surpassed the previous one in every way" cliche, which is also how Naruto might be better than Jiraiya, or Kakashi, and part of how Sasuke bested Orochimaru, though he was missing his hands. If Danzo was a bit younger, he might've won, and the Mokuton also gave him amazing chakra-stamina, so he was practically younger.
I could keep prattling on, but I won't. One advantage for those of us in the Danzo is mighty team is that they have said, officially, that this set's Danzo WILL be very powerful, among the strongest in the game, overall, and while I don't need him to have huge stats, the mix of Gen, Tree, Satoosa, MAYBE Mastery, and more promise to add up to a powerful cheese of a card. I haven't won any big tournament, so I don't expect to see my card, but anything relatively close would be very awesome.
