I like the mechanic but not Kisame’s effect. “Desperation” Reminds me a lot of “Limit Breaks” in Vanguard. I like the mechanics so far, looking forward to the rest.

oh god, I can already see set 26 being crazy, and these new mechanics are gonna become OP if the designers don't watch what they're doing and who they give what effects too. With inherit i can move an activated effect over to a ninja with desperation and use both effects twice a turn. A busted inherit effect that's an activated effect put on a desperstion ninja with an amazing effect with possible synergy could create ridiculous combos and potentionally broken situations. The way this game is played is gonna change so much when this set releases. It'll be a lot more like Magic the gathering now with themed combo decks doing a lot of crazy stuff off each other. Naruto just became so much more fun

Insanity in VS was a mechanic that only worked if you're deck was Singleton. It was a really fun idea. Every game was different.

Worlds finest set. Then it just disappeared. Any deck that played insanity can only have one copy of a card in their deck so every one card had to be unique and that was that. They had a good ongoing plot twist that kept on drawing you cards when you drew a card as long as you won the coin toss.

Depending on what else gets shown, I think Fire/water can be really good if built correctly
