Is this set short printed?

I got a couple boxes myself but I had to make a trip and purchase from another town, my local store got delayed from last week until tomorrow and only then we're getting 3 boxes. Is Bandai doing okay or did something else happen?

I know some distributers are having problems but on the other hand my local shop just ordered a bunch more boxes. I guess it depends on your region.

I guess Bandai doesn't understand the concept of Supply & Demand. If set 24 sold out & became Out of Print then you'd think they would've anticipated this & produced more for this set, but Nooooooooo! Somebody just had to go & be stingy by short printing this set & the previous one. The fact that the last set sold out means that funding for printing this set shouldn't be a problem.

A bunch of sets had really good sales. To combat this Bandai figured they'd get us all by printing 2 cases and being done with it.

They know how it works.

To me it's just obvious that someone at the top in Bandai doesn't care much about Naruto CCG and they don't want it to expand. I don't see any other reasonable explanation for their actions.

you have to realize that as a business, if you have been suffering for awhile after the economy, prior to sets such as weapons of war, it may have taken them a long time to recover from the horrible sets that were made before weapons of war. sure they have sold out of sage's and are starting to sell out with the current set but recovery doesn't happen right away. as players, we have been through the ups and downs just like any other card game and when a game hits a slump in sales they have to do something about it. they can't come up with money out of nowhere and printing costs money. like Tyler mentioned, once they have recovered and have enough funds to continue things like printing and prize support then we can expect the supplies and prizes. but just assuming that the previous sets sold out does not mean that they are back to being able to supply for the players; which is sad of course but they have budgets too.

i know people HATE to hear that but it is what it is. IF they are in the position of providing us with prizes and more boxes then they will. but since the game has slowly been recovering after taking major hits from the past, we will not see an increase until maybe the next few sets. once they start selling out more sets then we can probably get back to how the prizes were in 2006/2007.

and people don't play card games like they used to so we have to be patient and just play the most we can. they have received criticism on these threads several times and i am sure we have made very bold statements. but as a business if they are still recovering, there is only so much that they can provide. argue with me all you like but take into consideration. i love the game and i would love to see the prize support increase and more supplies for Target, and local distributors however at times these slumps happen. but i do believe that there will be huge improvement because the game is finally catching up to the anime, and we can finally steal more yu-gi-oh players and have them play with us.

hah yeaa right i know.

If they would at least come up with an explanation, then fine, we can accept it, but keeping silent most of the time and then having us guessing what is going on (because you're also just guessing), that's not a good business model. Communication with customers (and potential customers) is crucial, and it's such an easy thing to do. They just have to be honest and open about anything they do that is related to the game. This will reduce the amount of "hate" considerably because people will be kept informed in a timely manner.
