I'm confused by this card.

So say i target ninja A for lightning so i pay 2 chakra s it gets 2 damage then
I target ninja B and pay 2 water chakra and it also gets 2 damage or do i apply the effect to B and C since i paid 2 chakra?

The "Give the same amount of damage to one other ninja opposing the user" is confusing me,

Think of it like this.
X = Lightning paid
Y = Water paid
You do X damage to Target+Y opposing. You target the first ninja per the norm, then target the other 2 (or 8, whatever) in the effect. Do X damage to the first ninja, then X damage to the targets for Y. So 2 Water/Lightning chakra kills a team.

i'd just say use the chart on the perfect curve. He basically has it right:

1 Lightning Chakra + 0 Water Chakra = 1 Damage to 1 Opposing Ninja
2 Lightning Chakra + 0 Water Chakra = 2 Damage to 1 Opposing Ninja
1 Lightning Chakra + 1 Water Chakra = 1 Damage to 2 Opposing Ninja
2 Lightning Chakra + 1 Water Chakra = 2 Damage to 2 Opposing Ninja
1 Lightning Chakra + 2 Water Chakra = 1 Damage to 3 Opposing Ninja
2 Lightning Chakra + 2 Water Chakra = 2 Damage to 3 Opposing Ninja

Also, as the clarification errata has pointed out, the card gains effects by the symbol(s) ON the chakra, not by the chakra itself.
In other words, it is completely legit to get the 2 damage to 3 ninjas by simply paying 2 L/W cards (It's a good thing none of those are heavily playable,

I'd hate to quote the list on TPC, but Anko's Memory is still heavily played as a 1-of, and people would probably start running T3 Anko (I don't see it as often as I should) just to get the effect. Gamaken's in everybody's sideboard (though TPC lied, as they say it was popularized, but I'm pretty sure that I was using Gamaken against Void looooong before I knew people did decklists for events) so that's a good option too. Then you have the actual user for it (whoever that Cloud is) and the 3rd Hokage. Options. So many options.

or 2 chakra. If you pay 2 cards that have both a lightning and water symbol, you just annihilated the teams for less than what a leech will give you. This card is mad good. It would be broken if not for those requirements.
