Honestly the Kages not being valid REALLY bothers me, non-valid ninjas are only as good as you can throw them in most cases. So many ways to snipe 1 ninja and make him/her useless before they can really have an impact. And like I said, I think the format is still extremely fast and most games will end on 6 or be over before 6.

I surprised the mission negation and genjutsu didnt make the cut..only because Genjutsu will become the new hydro pump; espically for fire. And mission negation is a fire. Meaning they can just negate your missions, and play warhawk to replenish their hand.
But other then that, I liked this list. I agree; Kages are great, but they are late game with no ambush. We have all become spoiled by that nearly extinct mechanic. And that shikamaru was pro. Good eye there. The only card I dont agree with is Sakura. She is understated and has no growth..for that I play turn 3 Sakuras that also heal while having growth.

I had genjitsu in the tenth spot but hydro pumping ink bat is just a touch easier to get off more consistently and early but I agree ... very strong card though you have to build around it

Genjutsu I like a lot, it's no Hydro-pump tho. Hydro-pump with Fourth hokage is an auto-win in most cases. Genjutsu the cost is so much higher and you need to basically build a deck around resolving the jutsu. Also the ninjas that could cast Genjutsu are Ninjas that don't see a lot of play.

As for the mission negation, i have it on my list

Oh weird, i must have missed It then. My bad. As for genjutsu, I understand it is extremely techy. But a good lightning fire deck can play that easy with Chibi Kakashi. Or even turn 5 Itachi that searches out a card in deck if you want to be crazy and hope you have 9 chakra. Which I see as a possible with lightning In it. But I believe in post rotation, genjutsu will becomr atleast 1 in every fire/lightning deck. Possibly in other fire builds.

Noob question Gale Style: Laser Circus (J-932) when i pay 2x when the jutsu resolve its from bottom to top correct?

Only thing that I would have changed is probably the order. And Shikamaru, as good as he is he only beats everything until turn 2. When KNS drops the board. While he is a very good card in tempo and a good card in general. I wouldnt say he is the most playable card.

I think he will be the best 0 drop on release. He has support so you can fall back on him come turn 2. Also like I said in the article Yoshino -> KNS following shika is so devastating. you're opponent will be too scared to block
