In the vein of being able to Izanagi more than twice, it is important to remember that the Uchiha clan was probably very protective of their eye technique, just as the Hyuga were of their's. While the Hyuga had their Secondary Branch bear a seal that pretty much exploded their head on death or attempt to extract their eyes, I'm sure the Uchihas were not above harvesting the eyes of their fallen comrades.
If your Uchiha bro dies next to you, it's your responsibility to either bring his head back with you or throw him into a sealing jutsu to carry back. Point is, just like Tobi had all those leftover Sharingans in his lair, I'm sure the Uchiha had a surplus as well. I mean, Tobi's lair might even have been an old Uchiha lab were they stored the eyes anyways. |

that being said, it may have some merit, but im still calling some amount of BS. I doubt they were all like danzou. as far as we know he was the only one to have more than 2 sharingan on his body at any given time. having a replacement is one thing, but thats still just 2 per fight. so im still not seeing how an uchiha fight could get so out of hand that someone with izanami needs to come in. someone would go blind before too long. unless... could the 2 guys using izanagi to begin with be the issue? still too lazy to reread but my impression was that izanami was needed to smack some sense into the 2 fighting uchiha who decided to be izanagi spam ***s. but was the issue actually them using izanagi in the first place? a sort of "oh god, this cant end well, better put a stop to this before 2 of our best guys go blind because they are having a 'who's **** is bigger, lets decide with izanagi' contest" if so then either -i am remembering wrong or -the way it was presented was misleading |

itachi said it was a punishment if i remember correctly, they would get put in the loop to realize their mistakes of misusing the izanagi especially on a fellow uchiha. Plus the amount of time of izanagi depends on the user, and as danzo showed us, you can just turn it on and off when needed. Who knows maybe some actual user of sharingan can use izanagi longer and more correcty since it is their actual bloodline, not just controling them with hashirama. |
