Tylar, with the release pushed back to 06/08/12, will this set be Legal for AX SJC on 06/29/12 exactly 21 days/3 weeks after release? My locals kinda slacked on practicing much these last few weeks because we thought set 25 would be somewhat Meta changing and legal for AX.

All sets are legal 3 weeks after release. In the event of Series 25, the booster cards are legal exactly 3 weeks after 06/08/12, per the post.

Tylar could you at least make the reinforcement ruling stick for the next jump? a lot of New York and New Jersey players wanted to attend the Georgia SJC because of the ruling. If it's not possible I completely understand but it will be a pretty small jump without a hand full of players not attending.

Releases 06/08/12, legal for tournament play on 06/29/12.

TL;DR: Yes.

i appreciate the apology. i also apologize if the moderator felt i was spamming. it wasnt my intention i was merely expressing my displeasure.

I dont think its too much to ask that with this setback the set should be made legal the same day as it's release. This is just a suggestion and a hopeful one at that but would be greatly appreciated if allowed.

If you can give us a reprint of shika/tem and kankuro/temari in the near future, all will be forgiven. At least in my eyes it will lol.

The reason for the wait between a set being legal and its release date is so that people have time to play test with the cards before a large event.

With that said, I don't see any reason why the ruling change should be tied to set 25 instead of the normal 3 week waiting procedure.

The Reinforcement rule I believe runs with the release of set 25 (which includes the starters as far as I am concerned). It depends on whether or not it is linked to the boosters or to the set itself.

As for the Texas SJC, the release date of the starters makes ONLY the starters legal for the SJC.

No one should have reason to be sorry, you told us what the problem is and it's better than just leaving it.

This game is better than Naruto and people are going be rude just because of some problems recently? This game is perfectly fine when it comes to the cards in this game. This SJC and the SJC before this, I've seen at least what, 4 different decks in the t8? That alone is better than YGO has been for a long time.

Pokemon has nothing on this game and MtG is pretty trashy as well.

These guys do a great job, especially Tylar when it comes to creating cards. Humans are not perfect, errors are made. What gives you the right to rant like you do when you're not making this game? You put money towards it and you think that gives you the right to tell them they basically ruining their own game? That's disrespectful.

I like your thinking

But seriously, there is nothing to forgive. It's not like Bandai did this intentionally. A printing error isn't something they can really control.

I think it's more of an availability issue than a play testing issue. 3 weeks after the release date provides people with enough time to actually get their hands on the new cards.

I'm greatful Tylar told us now instead of in May.
