Question of N-707 and M-534

Hi guys,

I have two quick questions:

1- the elder of hyuga clan(n-707) protects ninjas with byakugan from jutsus, missions and ninjas effects or only opponent's ninjas effects
2- if my opponent plays sasuke uchiha(n-1030) and i play bashfulness(m-534) does sasuke do his effect or it is countered by my mission

1) opponent's Jutsu effects, Mission effects, and Ninja effects.

2) Sasuke's effect would fail since he is not in play when the effect goes to resolve from the chain.
