Clarification
Just saw this ruling, now I'm confused.
Cards: Tobi Pain (Animal Path) Hologram Scenario: My turn marker is currently at 2 or higher and Tobi is battling. I have Tobi use Hologram. The chain resolves. I search my deck for Pain (Animal Path) and put it in play in Tobi's team. Before Pain can actually be in play, I must pay the sacrifice cost, which I do by removing Tobi from the game. The rest of the jutsu effect fails since Tobi is now gone. Is this scenario correct? Thanks. |

The part where you said:
"When using sacrifice, you must pay the cost prior to adding the Ninja to the chain. If you attempt to sacrifice Tobi, he doesn't end up being sacrificed, meaning that you never met the cost for sacrifice." I'm not sure what you meant by that. Why doesn't the tobi end upbringing sacrificed? Is that something to do with his effect? But as long as the scenario I posted is ok, I should be good. Thanks for the response. |
