J-908 Chidori Lance

For the part of the card that says "if lightning was used to pay for....", does that mean that if a card with both a water & lightning symbol was used to pay for chidori lance, it would get the effect?

E.g.: I have sasuke use chidori lance on a valid target, I pay a monster research and a sea monster for the cost. Will this active the second part of chidori lance's effect?

Per that errata, as long as a card you used to pay for it had a lightning symbol, you get the bonus effect.
