Bi-Monthly Events

Format: Block
Days: Sunday
Start Time: 2:00 PM
Entry Fee: 5$ + tax

Prizing:

Every player receives a booster pack and promo's as a door prize. First place receives additional promos and a limited Naruto coin (see examples below). Additional door prizing may given out based on attendance (usually in the form of a mat given to a player who did not come in first, chosen at random). A free box is given out as additional prize support every four events with 5 or more people (see below).

Tournament Points:

After every 4th event with 5 or more people, a box of the current set is given out to the player who has gained the most points over the 4 events.

Points are gained by participating in local Naruto events at Dream Wizards (higher level events do not count). The Meijan, Adam, aka dreamwiz sage on the boards, keeps track of all wins losses and draws over the 4 event time period. This thread will be updated on a bi-weekly basis with the point totals, as well as information about upcoming events. In the event of a tie, the players who are tied for first will play against each other, and the winner will receive the box. Additional prizing may be given out based on attendance over the 4 event time period. The entry fee was raised from $4 to $6 to cover the additional prize support. If more than enough money is collected for the box, the additional money will go to additional prize support for the person in second place (if turn out is incredibly high this can be reworked further to reflect the larger attendance rate). Similarly, if we have less than 5 people the entry fee for that event will go back to $4, as the event will not be counted towards the four events. The points for the fourth event will count for both that event and towards the points for the next four tournaments, so make sure to show!

Win - 3 points
Draw - 2 points
Loss - 1 point

Next Event: April 7th, 2013. Second event of four for win a box tournament!

The next event is the release for set 24 on February 19th. See the first post for more details. Also, Adam should be updating the thread sometime this week with the point totals from the event today. Please note, the release event will count as an event for the extra box.

See you there!

I believe it will be all set 24. If a ton of people show up and we find we do not have enough set 24 (which should not happen given the turn out from the last event), we will mix set 24 and tp4 based on what we have. Prizing will be set 24 regardless. If we run out of set 24, which again, should not happen, the prizing will be given out at the next event. Adam will confirm all of this when he posts (i'll txt him in the morning to make sure he does it sooner rather than later).

As far as sealed vs draft, its put to a vote at every event. From what I know, sealed has always won (though I personally prefer draft).

It should be all set 24. But like yodaz said if we run out we will use tp4. It will start at 2pm on Sunday feb. 19th. 22 dollars plus tax for 5 packs and the point deal. I will have a list of the points at each event. I don't want to put them up on here cause some players may not want there names on here. I will check with every one next time if they want it one here or not.
