order of the cards doesn't matter. they are still the top fur cards of your deck til the effect resolves.which is first is irrelevent

Tobi only discarded one.

Messenger Ninja wasn't a draw card.

Your opponent is putting them in piles. They aren't part of your deck anymore.

Messenger ninja just revealed the top 6 cards, they were still part of the deck and never moved location. You could easily determine what card was on top.

You can't, but I don't see how that matters? Giant Eagle says "from your deck". It doesn't specify that it has to be from the "top".

So this means that the new TenTen is Discard one to draw two as long as you discard a Non-Earth. Lava is gonna be viable next format?

No they aren't. They are moved into piles and are no longer part of your deck, which is evident by text the tells you to move one of the piles to either the discard pile or to a players hand. Which also brings up the fact that it doesnt "Discard" cards. It moves them to the discard pile, which should also circumvent Eagle's trigger.

If you cant determine what cards in a pile is the top of your deck, then that pile isnt part of your deck.

That was my point that I brought up. It doesn't say discard. The wording of "move" and "discard" are two different things.

Bandai would have to rule "piles" as a zone. The cards are still apart of your deck because it doesn't move to another zone until the controller of MR picks and the effect resolves. It shouldn't IMO but bandai has to rule it differently.

this. either do what paper says and rule "move" and "discard" are different OR errata MS to clarify that the piles are no longer part of the deck when placed in piles for choosing the effects outcome. I DON'T LIKE THE RULING, but its not the rulings fault. the aswer for the ruling should have been "we're going to fix this so it doesn't work".
