The issue is:

1) The Bandai mods/representatives will skip this thread and ignore it; because answering it would simply make them look worse since there's no logical explanation.

2) All other Bandai games are trash and no where near the popularity of Naruto. They may be great, fun games and that's cool and all - but I don't know anyone who plays any other Bandai game EXCEPT FOR Naruto. They need to put most of their CCG effort into this game. People have been saying this for years.

To begin the two conventions are not considered "stores," and 1 store has been moved.

Chunins are meant to be regional, traveling move than an hour (with gas prices being what they are) is pushing it even with the previous Chunin prizing.

And yes we are trying to get more locations for Chunins as well as have people beyond Top 2 recieve prizing. As a player of other games it is terrible to go to a tournament that is at least 3 hours long and get nothing to show for it.

We have seen the results from SJC and past Chunins and for the most part it is the same group of players winning, a game does not progress unless all players feel inclusive.

Special Chunin exclusive incentives are in the works.

Does a store not need to host there? Or do you send the kit directly to the Meijin. Alas that is rather irrelevant.

Why is an employee of a company downplaying the events that they host?

I dont see how 2 or 3 hours is pushing it with a car of at least 3 people playing. Lets say that's 150 miles and the car averages 25 MPG and gas is $3.50, that is less than $15 in gas per person. I dont see how that is out of reach for many people who enjoy playing this game, even regardless of how they perform its the atmosphere, trading opportunities, and chance at winning 2 boxes that allures people to attend big tournaments.

Last I checked every player in top 8 received prizing. The prizing is free, most stores either already give or should be giving out prizes for players that do not top/as soon as they enter subsidized by the entry fee.

A game does not progress when its dead, either.

Those players that constantly perform well serve as a basis for other to strive for. There are some people that just don't have the intellectual capacity to perform well at this game and there is nothing wrong with that but you need incentive for people that do have the ability to weigh out cost vs reward and deem this game rewarding.
