What part of prizing do you want the most? Packs? Mats? Ps3?

The question is, out of all the prizing, which one is one that you look forward to the most.

Do you want something high in value like getting 2 boxes, or something like that finalist mat? etc...

Game systems never interested me. If I could win and get boxes and packs and mats, that's enough for me. I'd just end up selling the game systems to Gamestop to pay off preorders and get my 360 library boosted.

Does BOTH the Meijin AND the Judge both... get the bottom support? Or do they split the 24 packs 2 mats... etc?

If I could pick a prize, it would be unique mats....some dice that match...a deck box that doesn't have the Anbu symbol on it...etc. I prefer smaller things that I can use to SHOW I won later. I wouldn't bring a PS3 with me everywhere....piece of junk.

While winning cards and mats is great, I'm still rockin' the PS2, and would very much like to upgrade. And yeah, I'd never turn up my nose at a fat, juicy cash prize, either. $_$

Best in the land? Who cares? Make my own card? Only to see it rotated out in three sets... XP Oodles of game swag? I got the biggest collection I know of - I AM the Pack Junkie! In the end, I don't care about glory or recognition - show me the money.

They split it.



I like the idea of exclusive mats, but not if they are the same at every upper level tournament. Those finalist mats were cool at the beginning of the year when no one else had them, but not a big deal now. Prize mats for upper level tournaments should be different from the local prize mats AND different every quarter.

I also like the idea of promos, but then you get all of those winers that can't make it to the tournament and repeatedly post things like "you're going to make these easier to get right?" and "you should include them in [insert level] prize kits".

Game systems aren't worth it right now. They're values have all decreased and all of them will soon be outdated since new systems are coming out. I know bandai can't do money prizes, but why not gift cards? That's essentially what those PSPs are since you get a receipt with them.

but i do love packs. but the packs they give are usually ones no one needs anymore.
also, don't see why ps3, psp, and money are bundled together like that. unless its b/c if you're smart enough to own a ps3/dumb enough to own a psp that they give you cash. giving any console seems dumb b/c you now have a prize you have to invest in.
and why not some kind of gift card(best buy, amazon, visa cash card, etc)?can't be considered gambling if everyone else is doing it, let alone not illegal.i can understand mats, but special cards? no. i can see ppl complaining on the "broken" card some ppl have and others don't and it becoming rouged or limited, loosing the purpose of wining it. like when dudes get to make cards just for them to get blocked. waste of a prize. OR it going the other way and the cards you win skyrocket in price. i'd hate to see that too.
pins should be a throw in. cool but not awesome, and i'm sure cheap enough to not break the bandai bank.
and let me propose the following: ninja blade coins/token cards for every participant. and b4 anyone says anything about the coins being not fair, i wanna see proof from a reputable source saying so. i'm talking NASA like, b/c no one else would have the ability to actually figure this out. if they use it in sports, they can use it in games like this. and if you still wanna complain about it, ninja dice then. even though i can argue those are uneven too.
turn counters would be cool, too. like an abacus style thing w/ shurakins or kunai as the counters. ... actually, shurakin and kunai counters would be cool by themselves. wanna put a +1 or -1 on something? use a tiny shurakin/kunai/paper bomb thing. and make them metal. go cheap and they'll break or look crappy. so of course a case to hold them would be in order as well.
and since its bandai, how about some game prizing itself? resident evil DBG, naruto v.games; or taking a step back and handing out some naruto plushies, head bands(the cool ones w/ the symbols on them), and key chains. i'm sure there's plenty of that stuff laying around. ik several places that hold locals that just have piles of stuff left over.

ps3/psp/money is bundled together because when you win an electronic bandai sends you the receipt as well, so you can just return it to best buy and buy something else. thats what i did with a psp that i won
