I would actually consider playing it, but I didn't start until S22 was already out. My cardpool only stretches across block sets. The people I play with are like S1+ players, but not me.

That's the difference. Despite most of the people at my locals being old-school players, it's always a unanimous vote for block. Even they hate games ending on turn 3.

No, but unlimited is very very different. It's regular for my games in block to end around turn 10. In unlimited it's normal for a game to end before turn 5. Generally if your game doesn't end by then, then both players have done something wrong.

;( if me and my friends had unlimited turn markers we would be in turn 20 sometimes. Aside from me having the itachi structure deck my friends have old cards for the most part. and we don't really have a lot of powerful cards/combos. It's still fun none the less because one mistake anywhere in our game can turn the game around.

Water/Earth, Earth, Void (could be higher), Fire and Wind are Tier 2. Anything that doesn't play the early game and staple cards of those decks is poop-deck Tier. Basically, if you can't get a hold of Monster Research, your deck isn't Tier 1. |

Unless you run a Void deck you should have 2x KNS, 1x Hydropump, and 1x Infinite Embrace. Also Anko's Memories or Monster Research should be in every deck that can fit it. |
