card game to be linked with Ultimate Ninja Storm Generations
"One interesting feature that Namco Bandai has revealed is the integration with the actual Naruto card game. Certain cards will have codes that can be entered to recieve the art on the card as a online matchmaking picture. They also unlock a mini-game that unlocks skills that can be used in battle."
This sounds interesting although I hope that the unlocks can also be obtained normally for people who have no access to the card game products regardless I think this is a cool feature to add into the game. It also mentions about collector's editions so hopefully there will be promos with the as well. Ripping. But y'know what Bandai really needs to do? Release an online version of the CCG!

cause as god like of an idea this is...bandai needs stuff spoon fed to them. if everyone votes yes and makes there voice heard you never know maybe bandai will do it... I would gladly pay $10 for a downloadable xbox live version of this game. and have to play vs PC or other players to "unlock" cards. and also have the option to pay $1 for a "pack" which is basically 10 random cards you dont have, 1 being a super etc etc.. this game has so much potential its such a shame to see where the status of the game is right now lol....we deserve better!!! |

but instead, we have to play crappy versions of Trade cards online, and play test on there vs our friends.
If tons of people are willing to put up with that crappy website, imagine how much revenue bandai would make if each of those people + more random people pay $10 to get an xbox live/ps3 version of the game... |

Look, I'm going to level with everyone.
Bandai's CCG department only have 4 people actually working in it. Of the four of them, only one marginally understands programming. Before you go "Well maybe they should hire more people!" there are budget restrictions. The logistics of an undertaking of that nature are staggering. Both WotC and Konami have teams dedicated to creating their online platforms, and even they aren't that great. Why would 4 people be able to do it? Bottom line: This cross promotion is awesome, don't ask for more. |

only 1 understands programming? As far as I know Alex Bykov is a Computer Science graduate, and Tylar i think is either a graduate or drop out hahha jk idk about Tylars schooling but i know he is experienced with the stuff...
Its honestly not that hard to create a game like naruto onto an online platform. and just fyi to all the people that say its not that profitable beacuse of all the cuts, your kinda wrong...beacuse the cut they take is real small... Also, this game wont just sell 100, it will sell in the thousands, imagine how many Naruto fans are gonna buy it online just to try it out.......The biggest reason this game is not growing is because of its lack of advertisement, what better way to do this then to catch some anime nerd playing call of duty, and the next time he logs onto his xbox, on the new release section it says "naruto CCG" I would try it out... im just saying for the amount of cost that will be put into the game, it is totally worth the shot.... |
